A Sino-Swedish seminar was held in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Nov 2, aimed at boosting Sino-Swedish ties through joint projects and exchanging talents, reports Baotou Daily.
Co-hosted by the Department of Science and Technology of Inner Mongolia autonomous region and the Embassy of Sweden in Beijing, the 2017 Sino-Swedish Environmental Seminar was attended by Chinese and Swedish officials and experts including Li Bingrong, director of the Department of Science and Technology of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, and Östen Ekengren, deputy director of IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute.
The event also witnessed the signing of an agreement between the Department of Science and Technology of Inner Mongolia autonomous region and China Technology Exchange, as well as an agreement between the Science and Technology Exchange Center of Inner Mongolia autonomous region and IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute.
