Zhao Jiangtao visits Baogang Group

Zhao Jiangtao, acting mayor of Baotou, paid a visit to Baogang Group on Nov 1, where he discussed the company’s development, reports Baotou Daily.

The acting mayor toured a beam and rail factory owned by Baogang Group, and learned about the company’s history, main businesses and its strategic version.

Baogang Group, or Baotou Iron and Steel Group, is an iron and steel State-owned enterprise based in Baotou. It is the largest steel business based in the autonomous region, and one of the oldest iron and steel industrial bases in China, with a large production base of iron and steel, and the largest scientific research and production base for rare earth metals in China.
