The Changchun City Planning Exhibition Center is enabling people to review the city's history, urban construction and future planning, and is to open to the public for free every Tuesday to Sunday.
According to a staff member, people can learn about the city's history and culture, the construction of its Northeast-Asia Center, its features as an ecological city and its future urban planning in 22 exhibition areas.

A sand table showing the development of Changchun is placed on the first floor, and displays the changes of the city through a wall-to-ground projector.
The second floor houses a stereo movie theater which plays films recording the old days of Changchun. In terms of the future, people can see the city at it might well be 100 years from now in a 3D movie cinema on the third floor.
