Xiamen enters the list of top 100 sustainable competitive cities

The coastal city of Xiamen in Fujian province was included in a list of top 100 sustainable competitive cities, according a recent report.

The Global Urban Competitiveness Report 2017-2018 was released by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN-Habitat) on Oct 30 at the World City Competitiveness Forum held in Guangzhou.

The report indexes over 1,000 cities by urban economic competitiveness and sustainable competitiveness. Nine Chinese cities were included in the list of top 100 sustainable competitive cities, while another 21 were included in the list of top 100 economically competitive cities.
