Songbei to establish first tech expo and trade center

Songbei district in Harbin recently announced that it would invest 1.32 billion yuan ($199.3 million) to establish Harbin’s first technology expo and trading center.

The center, which is located on Guihua Road, will include three exhibition halls covering a total area of 26,000 square meters, a 5,300-sq m trading center, a meeting center covering 23,000 sq m, a 68,000-sq m hotel, and an area measuring 35,000 sq m for businesses.

The center is expected to serve as a platform for displaying Harbin’s technological achievements and to drive the economic development of surrounding areas.
