Harbin simplifies customs procedures

A total of 14 hay mowers manufactured in Germany arrived at Harbin Comprehensive Bonded Zone on a China-Europe block train on Oct 26. It is the first batch of goods to complete customs procedures following the implementation of a new policy to simplify customs procedures.

According to the newly-launched policy, the imported 14 hay mowers passed customs clearance, inspection and quarantine through a single procedure, saving one to three days compared with the previous customs formalities.

Imported goods in Harbin Comprehensive Bonded Zone will also enjoy a series of preferential policies, including preferential tax rates and duty exemptions.
