As a World Natural and Cultural Heritage, the Mount Tai Scenic Area took part in the 2017 International Heritage Preservation Equipment Expo, displaying its new changes and developments in recent years.
Held in Jinan from Oct 20 to 22, the biennial expo was designed to showcase the latest developments in the fields of heritage equipment, archaeological technology, cultural relic restoration, ancient architecture renovation methods, and other fields related to the conservation of cultural heritage.

The Mount Tai Scenic Area occupied an exhibition area of 72 square meters and was divided into three sections of exhibition area, interactive experiencing area and creative products area.
The exhibition section offered a complete picture of the scenic area's achievements in management, innovative development and cultural relic preservations through five parts.
The performance of Fengshan Sacrifice rites, a type of religious ritual that was conducted by China's ancient emperors on Mount Tai, was also staged during the expo, helping the visitors better understand the historical and cultural connotations of Mount Tai.
