The park was established in March 2013 with a total investment of more than 30 million yuan ($4.52 million). It takes up more than 486,667 square meters in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (Hannan), referred to as the WHDZ, next to Yunshuishan Cultural Relic.
The park plants, produces and researches organic fruits and vegetables. It is now a high-standard green agri-food production base and demonstration site run by private management.
It is also an ecological preservation park and offers nature courses to youngsters, aiming to be the first modern agriculture research and education demo site in Wuhan.
