The 2nd Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Cultural Industry Expo Fair opened at Inner Mongolia International Convention and Exhibition Center in Hohhot on Oct 20, with the aim of increasing the international appeal of local culture in Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
Bai Yugang, head of Inner Mongolia Publicity Department, and other leaders from the region attended the fair.
The fair, covering an area of 12,000 square meters, has seven exhibition halls, including an international exhibition hall to promote the Belt and Road Initiative.
An exhibition hall on the culture industry, established by 12 cities in Inner Mongolia and four State-owned enterprises in the region, highlighted the achievements of the culture industry over the past few years, attracting a large number of visitors and exhibitors.
It attracted a total of 339 companies, including 198 regional firms, 80 companies from outside the region, and 61 foreign companies from countries like France, Japan, India, Thailand, and Mongolia.
The fair will last for four days. A promotional event on preferential policies, a signing ceremony, and an exhibition on Mongolian traditions and folklore will also be held over the following days.
