KFC serves up Cantonese culture

A Guangzhou branch of fast food retailer Kentucky Fried Chicken hosted an event promoting Cantonese culture on Oct 21, complete with storytelling and pith paper painting.

The restaurant, which opened this October, is located in a commercial and cultural area in the city and decorated in rich Cantonese cultural style.

KFC celebrates its 30th anniversary in China this year and in that time continues to feature local culture in its restaurants in Guangdong province, following those in Jiangmen and Foshan cities in the province.
