An exhibition featuring some 100 works created by Baotou artists opened in Jinan, East China’s Shandong province, on Oct 19, according to a dzwww.com report.
Jointly hosted by the Shandong and Baotou art museums, the exhibition will also feature forums and meetings, inviting artists to exchange views on artistic creation.
In contrast to Shandong’s Qilu culture, Baotou, the largest city in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, represents China’s sprawling nomadic grassland culture.
Works created by Baotou artists stand out with striking elements related to grassland culture.
