Inner Mongolia supplies heating in advance

Cities in Inner Mongolia have chosen to supply heating to local residents ahead of regular schedule due to lower temperatures than average the same period former years. 

Usually, Inner Mongolia supplies heating on Oct 15 each year. Impacted by the cold front, Hohhot municipal commission of urban-rural construction convened a meeting to discuss the heating supply and officers decided to operate heating four days ahead.

On Oct 12, Baotou residents were supplied heating, according to the Baotou General Heating Company.

Ordos began to supply heating for 453 dwellings in Dongsheng district on Oct 9. Bayannuur has initiated heating supply since the continuous snowy days on Oct 11.
