Baotou is to mark the launch of a new route on Oct 29, with a flight from Chengdu of Sichuan province to Changchun of Jilin province making a stop in Baotou city, reports Baotou Daily.
The new Airbus A319 direct flight, operated by Chengdu Airlines, is scheduled to fly once a day.
The Chengdu-Changchun flight will depart Chengdu at 6:55 am, stopping in Baotou at 9:15 am and will take off at 10:05 am. It will reach Changchun at 12:15 am. The return flight will leave Changchun at 1:10 pm, stopping in Baotou at 3:35 pm before arriving in Chengdu at 6:55 pm.
Baotou, the largest city in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, aims to boost ties with cities inside and outside Inner Mongolia autonomous region by launching new air routes including direct flights to Urad Middle Banner, Shanghai and Xi’an of Shaanxi province.
