The port of Ceke, located in Ejine Banner, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, is an important hub linking Mongolia and the western part of China.
Tremendous progress has been made by the port over the past 25 years, as the volume of cargo handled by the port has recently hit a value of $5 billion. And more than 3.3 million people have passed through the port, contributing taxes of over $75.2 million to the country.
Ceke is currently striving to promote tourism, along with trade, with the aim of developing itself into an international tourist destination and tax-free shopping zone.
