Innovation competition opens in high-tech district

Some 260 participants took part in an innovation and entrepreneurship competition at Baotou Rare Earth High-Tech Industrial Development district in Baotou on Sept 21, reports Baotou Daily.
The competition, as part of Inner Mongolia autonomous region’s innovation and entrepreneurship week, is aimed at spurring innovation and entrepreneurship among college and university students, and boosting regional economic development.
Niu Lei, a student from Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology, delivered a speech at the launch ceremony.
