The Ancient Liaoning exhibition was unveiled at Liaoning Provincial Museum in Shenyang on Sept 22.
The exhibition, presented under the auspices of Liaoning Provincial Culture Bureau and Liaoning Administration of Cultural Heritage, reflects the colorful history and culture of the Liaohe River Basin over a 280,000-year period.
A total of 2,216 items are on display in over 6,400 exhibition areas, which are divided into five exhibition halls and tells its story from prehistoric times to the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).
