An international animation copyright expo will be held in Dongguan, Guangdong province in November, aiming to encourage original creations and protect intellectual property rights in animation.
"The animation copyright fair has become a major trade platform for original animation between Chinese companies and their overseas counterparts since it was initiated eight years ago," said Song Chaohui, a publicity official with the Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of Guangdong.
The ninth China International Animation Copyright Fair, to be held from Nov 9 to 11, will feature exhibitions on the film and television animation industry, 4k technology in film and television animation, brand authorization of animation and virtual reality industrial applications, according to Song.
"Original animation creations by more than 100 companies will be displayed during the three-day event," Song said.
A number of world-renowned animators from Japan, the United States and France will also visit the fair and share their views of the industry's trends in an animation film and television conference, which will be held concurrently with the fair.
