The Guiyang Urban Rail Transit Company began to issuing metro tickets featuring local landmarks, such as famous buildings and scenic areas, on Sept 18.
Guiyang will issue 300,000 one-way tickets for Metro Line 1 with backgrounds printed with six designer-made representations of Qianling Park, Yangming Temple, Qingyan Ancient Town, the Confucius Academy and Wenchang Pavilion.
Metro Line 1, the first metro line for the capital of Guizhou province, stretches 30.15 kilometers with 25 stations. Construction of the line began in October 2013 and is almost completed.
