Symphonic music week comes to Baotou

As part of the fourth China West Symphonic Music Week, the Baotou symphony orchestra gave a performance at Inner Mongolia Folk Arts Theatre on Sept 12.

The music week will be held from Sept 12 to 22, and 13 symphony orchestras from 11 of China’s western provinces and regions will give performances, including Baotou, Guangxi and Chongqing.

A selection from the symphonic poem Grasslands, Gershwin’s Concerto in F, and Dvorak’s The Symphony No 9 in E Minor were played at the concert.
