The 7th China-Russia-Mongolia International Youth Sports Event took place in Ulaanbaatar recently, gathering hundreds of young people to compete while enjoying typical art and culture performances.
The six-day event attracted over 700 teenagers to compete in 11 games including soccer, archery, table tennis, freestyle wrestling, boxing and judo. Inner Mongolia dispatched 129 young athletes, as well as 40 trainers and instructors.
The event aimed to increase trilateral exchanges and collaborations in sports and build friendships among teenagers from the three countries.
It is also an opportunity to discover fresh talent in an assortment of games to boost the local sports industry, said one event organizer.
