Huanghe Park listed as science popularization base

A ceremony was held in Sanmenxia's Hubin Plaza on Sept 10, awarding the Huanghe Park Film Creative Pavilion as the city's first social science popularization base.

Occupying a total area of 1,200 square meters, the pavilion includes an exhibition room, film studio, cultural creative studio and a film-themed restaurant.

Over 50 film projectors, 2,000 film magazines and 1,800 film posters are on display in the exhibition hall. The film pavilion is also equipped with a high definition sprayer, which is able to create pictures and cartoons.

"We hope that these paintings can help visitors better understand film arts," said Li Hongyan, an official from the pavilion.

The pavilion exhibition hall of film shows around 200 films a year, providing visitors and local residents an opportunity to appreciate film and talk about cinematic arts.
