Alcoholic beverage expo concludes in Guizhou

The four-day International Alcoholic Beverage Expo came to a close in Guizhou on Sept 12, after gathering more than 2,000 exhibitors to showcase and sell their products.

Aiming to showcase the best alcohol in the world, the expo gathered Kwiechow Moutai, Lafite, Latour and some 800 alcohol companies from 41 overseas countries and regions.

Now in its seventh year, the expo has been regarded as a shopping carnival for those who want to purchase discounted wholesale alcohol. The attending exhibitors all offered big discounts to attract more buyers and seek future cooperation opportunities in the 80,000-square-meter exhibition area.

"I can't believe I bought 10 boxes of wine. I am really worried about if I can take it all home," said a visitor surnamed Wang.

The expo is the only in China recognized by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) as an alcohol expo. With the platform, Guizhou continues to promote its alcohol industry and cooperate with the outside world to boost the local economy.
