Hohhot will hold a Belt and Road themed exhibition on Sept 27 at Inner Mongolia Art Museum to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
As the only Chinese city to host the Belt and Road International Art Touring Exhibition, Hohhot will showcase China's paintings and sketches at the exhibition.
Artists from countries including Germany, Italy, Spain, and Mongolia will also show their work at the event.
The exhibition is being jointly held by Hohhot Foreign Friendship Exchange Center, China-France Art Exchange Association, and Mongolia Artists Association.
"The art exhibition is held to promote cultural exchanges among countries along the Belt and Road," said Wu Jun, director of Hohhot Foreign Friendship Exchange Center.
"We are committed to improving the international influence of Hohhot and to promoting more companies from Hohhot to go abroad," he said.
Previously, the Belt and Road International Art Touring Exhibition was held and achieved great success in Paris, France on Aug 16.
