Baotou gets tank-shaped statue

A tank-shaped statue stands in Baotou’s Qingshan district, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Sept 7. The statue, measuring 30-meters long, 14-meters wide and 13-meters high, is made of steel. Qingshan district boasts a solid foundation for the arms industry, with military industrial enterprises based in the district, including Inner Mongolia First Machinery Group Co Ltd and Inner Mongolia North Heavy Industries Group Co Ltd.
