Shanxi businesses have been highlighting the latest achievements that have been brought about from opening up, innovation and transformation at the 11th China-Northeast Asia Expo (CNEA Expo) held in Changchun, capital of Jilin province, from Sept 1 to 5.
In Shanxi's 108-square-meter exhibition area, 15 companies have displayed products in six categories, such as new energy, artificial intelligence, smart cities and equipment manufacturing.
Shanxi aims to strengthen communication and partnerships with countries in Northeast Asia, through the platform that the expo provided to promote the province's competitive industries and introduce advanced technologies, according to Jiao Yufeng, director of Shanxi Board of Investment Promotion.
Further collaboration with Japan and South Korea in new energy, equipment manufacturing, energy saving and environmental protection, as well as partnerships with Mongolia and Russia in Shanxi's top industries is expected to do most to facilitate Shanxi's industrial upgrading.
This year’s China-Northeast Asia Expo, which focuses on serving the northeast Asian region with a global perspective, has attracted some 930 companies from 35 different countries and regions. There are nine exhibition halls at the expo with an intelligent manufacturing exhibition hall established for the first time this year, exhibiting cutting-edge technologies in manufacturing, such as 3D printing and robotics.
