The Guiyang Hi-Tech Industrial Development Area continues to attract big data companies, using the latest technologies to boost the regional economy.
So far, over 3,000 companies have settled in the area, of which 2,958 are engaged in research and development for big data technologies. In the first half of the year, the companies have brought in 11.1 billion yuan ($1.66 billion).
Thanks to its hi-tech and innovation-driven strategy, the area also boasts 134 big data research institutions to further boost its aims of becoming a leading zone for big data technology innovation in China and the world.
