CNEA Expo right around the corner

The highlights and agenda for the 11th China-Northeast Asia Expo were announced at a press conference on Aug 31.

Yang Kai, deputy-director of the Expo's committee, said everything has been well prepared and expressed the committee's determination to host a better Expo than ever.

About 100,000 professional exhibitors and investors from home and abroad have been invited to the Expo.

Fifty-nine government officials at the vice-minister rank and above from Russia, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Japan, and Mongolia, and officials at the Commerce Department of China, the National Development and Reform Commission and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, are confirmed attendees.

Delegations of World Top 500 enterprises such as Siemens and HSBC will also be there.

Nine pavilions are set up for the Expo -- Intelligent Manufacturing (Hall 9), Mobile Payments (Hall 1), Hong Kong (Hall 2), Taiwan (Halls 3 and 4), Opening and Cooperation (Hall 6), Food and Medicine (Hall 7), and Tourism (Hall 8).

This year's Expo intends to promote international cooperation in energy, manufacturing and business.

The Intelligent Manufacturing Pavilion will be one of the highlights. All kinds of high-tech products and technologies including 3D printing, unmanned drones, AI and high speed train technology will be on display.

Additionally, forums on innovation, intelligent manufacturing & big data and the future of intelligent industry will be held.
