"Different from other schools, each classroom at Guangzhou Middle School is connected to the internet and features high-tech facilities such as interactive whiteboards, a projector and a multimedia player," said a teacher from the school.
"The whiteboard is connected to the students' tablet computers so they can look up course content during the class," the teacher added.
Students at the school don't even need a schoolbag anymore, with them able to complete their study including discussions and homework using a tablet computer. Using big data technology, teachers will be able to offer the best solutions to their students' problems.
Another highlight of the middle school lies in its credit system which is common in colleges and universities. When a student finishes his credits, he or she can get an exemption in his or her subjects and can spend more time in the library or doing experiments in the laboratory.
Wu Yinmin, headmaster of Guangzhou Middle School, said, "As a school with a gene of reform and innovation, Guangzhou Middle School has carried out many reforms to its curriculum, teaching, management and evaluation."
