A special summit aimed at improving supply chain procurement for enterprises and universities was recently held in the Guangdong capital of Guangzhou, with more than 500 people including entrepreneurs and experts in attendance.
The 2017 (Guangzhou) Supply Chain Procurement Summit centered on helping traditional enterprises to reform their supply chain, increase efficiency and cut down the cost of procurement as well as discussing development trends in China's supply chain procurement management.
The summit was hosted by ENTB2B, a company dedicated to providing big data and information services for global purchasers and suppliers using technological innovation.

ENTB2B has cooperated with a range of purchasers including Kangmei Pharmaceutical Company, Conrad Hotel and Sun Yat-sen University, helping them to reduce their costs by 10 to 30 percent while improving efficiency by 50 percent.
"With the coming of a new era featuring internet plus and big data, the traditional way of procurement in the supply chain must be reformed if companies want to seek further development," said Liu Zhenxin, chief operating officer of ENTB2B.
Du Jianwei, vice president of ENTB2B, said enterprises in China will have a wider range of choices when selecting suppliers and their simple procurement mode will become much more targeted due to customized demands.
