Tian'e county in Hechi has pushed its local agricultural products on e-commerce platforms in recent years, making it a significant driving force for employment growth and poverty alleviation.
The local government has lent more policy and financial support in nurturing e-commerce enterprises, as well as constructing online sales platforms and strengthening logistics distribution system. In the process, Tian'e county has paved a new path for the marketing of local products "guided by the government, operated by enterprises and promoted by association".
As a result, local characteristic agricultural products have been in increasing demand and popularity.
At present, 13 e-commerce enterprises and one e-commerce association have been set up in the county, with the enrollment of 132 enterprises and personal stores on Alibaba's e-commerce platform Taobao.
