Hou Hewei's team, a group of 95s students from Wuxi's university, won first prize in a cultural creativity competition held in Wuxi, Jiangsu province on August 11.
The competition was intended to inspire culture makers and serve as a platform for them to show their ideas in cultural creativity.
Hou's team designed two sets of cultural tourism products for the Hongshan Museum located in the southeast of Wuxi, Jiangsu province: a series of scarves printed with uniquely-designed patterns and another of jade phoenix and sunflower patterns used in practical products, such as stationery.
