DACKS achieves leapfrog development

On Aug 10, a 308-thousand-ton tanker was delivered by Dalian Cosco KHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd (DACKS). To date it is the third tanker delivered by the company, which continues to set new size records for domestic tanker ships.

In response to the "Made in China 2025" strategy, DACKS has been using intelligent manufacturing for each step of vessel construction.

At the same time, DACKS is saving energy and promoting greening of ship design, construction, operation and disassembly for each of its new types of vessel.

Settled in Lushunkou city for 10 years, DACKS has delivered 36 ships and developed six new types, including a 205-thousand-ton bulk cargo vessel and a 298-thousand-ton ore carrier.
