The 2017 China Harbin export commodities fair came to an end in Irkutsk, in Russia's Siberia region on Aug 12.
The four-day fair proved to be a great success, with five intention agreements signed worth $6.3 million.
Jointly hosted by Harbin municipal government and Irkutsk government, the fair was Harbin’s largest-scale trade activity in Russia this year.
Twenty-three key units and companies from Harbin attended the fair, including government institutions, banks, and foreign trade companies, covering areas such as machinery and electricity, light industry, health care products, and food.
According to the agreements signed, Harbin will export submerged arc furnace equipment worth $2 million, environmental protection equipment worth $1.5 million, and baby products worth $2.8 million to Russia.
Agreements also covered areas such as logistics and food.
