Hundreds of applicants flocked an auditioning center in Hohhot, capital of Inner Mongolia autonomous region on Aug 11 to apply as volunteers for the 26th Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival.
The services of an evaluation team including leaders of public service department, etiquette teachers as well as foreign language teachers were employed by the Hohhot youth league committee to evaluate the applicants.
Three auditioning rooms were arranged for the judges to evaluate the applicants’ in area such foreign language proficiency, cooperation and logical thinking.
After the interview, trainings were also provided for successful applicants. They were trained as ushers and equipped with skills on emergency rescue. They will carry out volunteer service work during the film festival at stadiums, hotels and transportation junctions.
The 26th China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival will be held in Hohhot from Sept 13 to 16.
The film festival will release outstanding movies from all over the world including films made by members of China’s ethnic groups.
As one of the country’s top film industry events, the film festival will commence with a grand opening ceremony, an evening gala, a nominations ceremony, a red carpet event, and an awards ceremony.
