A 70-meter-long paper-cutting work alongside hundreds of photographs were exhibited at a cultural gallery in the Saihan district of Hohhot on Aug 4 in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, China’s first area to implement the national ethnic autonomy system.
Organized by the Saihan radio and television department, the exhibition highlighted economic achievements, social development and ethnic customs over the past seven decades. The 70-meter-long work was created by local intangible cultural heritage inheritors over nearly six months.
