Cities get ready for CNEA Expo

The 11th China-Northeast Asia Expo's (CNEA Expo) is to be held in Changchun, Jilin province, from Sept 1 to 5. Cities across the province are ready to make all necessary preparations to participate in the expo.

Gongzhuling, known as the land of maize, has registered four exhibition booths for the promotion of the tourism industry and small branded companies. Businessmen from home and aboard will be invited to visit the booths. More than 200 products from the city will be exhibited during the expo.

With the theme of "Impression Gongzhuling City", a booth has been specially decorated to promote the city's uniquely featured name cards -- the hometown of princess, the land of maize and the basement of China's auto components manufacturing.

During the expo, an investment and cooperation seminar will be held with more than 500 attendees.

In addition, Gongzhuling City's well-known food and pharmacy enterprises are designated to be invited to display at the expo.

Tonghua, the host city of the Changbai Mountain International Pharmaceutical Industry Development Forum has started to prepare for the event as well.

According to the forum's organizing committee, about 370 exhibitors will be invited and more than 200 have confirmed their attendance.

During the forum, a meeting of investors and enterprises focusing on medicine, green food and tourism will be held. To date, seven programs worth 13.74 billion yuan ($2.05 billion) have been recommended for promotion at the forum.

Cities like Jiaohe, Ji’an and Baicheng are also ready to participate at the expo.
