Nearly 300,000 students have now received a bilingual education at 502 ethnic primary and middle schools in Inner Mongolia, almost 14 times the number seven decades ago.
The region has made efforts to train teachers from ethnic minority backgrounds, designing learning materials, providing vocational counseling and improving school facilities.
