The 10th China (Guangdong) Folk Art Fair will open at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, from Aug 10-14, treating citizens to high-quality and exquisite folk arts.
The five-day fair will focus on displaying the beauty of traditional folk arts. For the first time since its inception, the fair is collaborating with the Southern Chinese Book Festival.

What's more, according to the time schedule of the Southern Chinese Book Festival, the opening hours of the Folk Art Fair will be extended to 9 pm on August 11-13.
The Guangdong Folk Art Fair has attracted thousands of masters and inheritors; teachers and students, who work on folk art since 2012. This time, more than 200 exhibitors from 15 provinces, will attend the grand gathering, bringing a wealth of variety and diversity in arts and crafts.
Nominations for the Chinese Folk Art Mountain Flower Award will be held at the fair. The award is the only national folk art award jointly sponsored by Chinese Literary Federation and the Chinese Folk Artists Association. Nearly 200 exhibitors will compete for the award.
Wang Hongbin a woodcarving master from Fujian, Ji Ying an inheritor of sheepskin painting from Inner Mongolia, Hua Yuexiu a teacher of Shaanxi folk paper-cutting and Chen Dadao a teacher of hand-painted oiled paper umbrella from Sichuan will be in attendance.
