New self-service machines for transportation services were put into use in Guiyang, capital of Guizhou province, on July 31, giving residents the convenience of quickly paying traffic tickets or applying for services from the Guiyang Transportation Bureau.
Ten new self-service machines developed by the Traffic Management Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security have been installed in the branch offices of the Guiyang Transportation Bureau in the Yunya, Nanming, Wudang, Baiyun, Huaxi, Guanshanhu districts and the Guiyang Economic and Development Zone.
"The machines can effectively save time for drivers and promote government efficiency in dealing with business affairs," said a staff member at the transportation office in the Guanshanhu district.
