Hua Hong integrated circuit project launches in Wuxi

The Wuxi government signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shanghai Hua Hong (Group) Co. Ltd on Aug 2 to launch the Hua Hong integrated project with a $10 billion investment in Wuxi National Hi-tech District.

Li Xiaomin, Wuxi’s Party secretary, and Zhang Suxin, the chairman of Hua Hong Company, attended the signing ceremony.

Hua Hong Group is the leader of China’s integrated circuit industry and an important member of China’s “909” or “910” project. Wuxi, for its part, is a key micro-electronic industrial base as well one of the cities of the national “908” project. With those conditions, the cooperation benefits both sides in industrial development and is truly win-win.
