Bama inks 5.5b yuan agreement in big health

Hangzhou Jinjiang Group and Bama Yao autonomous county inked a 5.5-billion-yuan ($816 million) deal on July 23, agreeing to cooperate in medical testing, genetic testing, health checkups, characteristic agriculture and aquaculture.

Wang Jun, member of the standing committee of the Hechi Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, and President of Hangzhou Jinjiang Group Dou Zhenggang attended the signing ceremony.

According to the agreement, the Bama government and the Hangzhou-based enterprise will join hands to create a big health-featured town using a proposed investment of 3 billion yuan.

Apart from building infrastructure, both sides will set up a financial platform to promote sound and steady development in the big health sector.

Wang said, "The cooperation is of great importance for Bama establishing a demonstration base for the big health industry in the Zhuang autonomous region," adding that both sides will establish sound cooperative relations to achieve win-win results.

Jinjiang Group is a private enterprise involved in environment-friendly energy, nonferrous metals, and new materials. In recent years, it has expanded its business into the big health industry.
