Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou province, was ranked among the 2017 top 10 Global Summer Resort Cities released recently.
Liupanshui, another city in Guizhou, made 88th in the global top 100.
The annual list is ranked by China Institute of City Competitiveness (CICC), Asia-Pacific Environment Protection Association (APEPA), International Cultural Geography Association (ICGA), and China Public Praise Centre (CPPC).
The list contains three subordinate Chinese rankings: Summer Resort Cities, Summer Resort Mountains, and Summer Resort Counties. Guizhou had 6, 7, and 11 regions on the 2017 ranking respectively.
