Already an industry benchmark creator with leading intelligent solutions in electric-vehicle (EV) charging, Zhuhai-based Little Cola Technology Co Ltd is partnering with Potevio Corp to build a test center for charging pile operation and management software for China.

Potevio is a state-owned telecommunications distribution company headquartered in Hangzhou. It engages in ICT product manufacture, trade, technology research, and service. Operations include communications, financial electronics, and new energy.

The companies intend to standardize the Chinese market for charging piles. According to Li Xiang, general manager of Little Cola, charging piles must meet national standards before entering the market. This, she added, is conducive to the healthy development of the industry.

Previously, Little Cola participated in formulating the Charging Criteria of China Electric Vehicle Charging Technology & Industry Alliance, which came into effect this year.

Li also revealed a plan to establish an intelligent vehicle industrial park that will integrate R&D, exhibition, trade, and education. It will provide all-round impetus for the development of China's intelligent vehicles, she said.

Filling a gap in the market, Little Cola was founded in Xiangzhou District in 2015 to become a key solutions supplier for intelligent vehicle software. It engages in the research and development of management software for intelligent interconnection with electric vehicles. Its goal is to become a software-based solution supplier for intelligent vehicles throughout China.

Relying on its edge in technology, the company has developed a high-efficiency management system to connect charging stations with the backend within just a few months. This enables operators to monitor running conditions, and allows for instant operations to solve problems. It is acclaimed by users and operators as it optimizes the performance of charging facilities.
