Delicacies from Dahua Yao autonomous county won acclaim rose at a promotion event held in Zhongguancun Innovation and Entrepreneurship Demonstration Base in Nanning, the capital of South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on July 14.
A total of 108 delicacies in 18 categories were on display, offering gastronomes a taste of both Zhuang and Yao ethnic flavors. The event presented foodies with a panoramic view of the Dahua county's cooking culture and folk customs.
"Dahua is richly endowed by nature and abundant in food resources," said Wei Xiaoqiang, head of Dahua Yao autonomous county.
Wei briefed the participants on the experiences and practices of Dahua’s development of food materials at the launch ceremony, attracting widespread praise.

When it was named as a China Green Food base by the China Hospitality Association on June 23, Dahua became the first county in China to receive that title.
The promotion event was held to select the best food materials from across the Zhuang autonomous region, promoting local agricultural brands and expanding marketing channels.
