The Zhuhai section is on the west bank of Xijiang River and passes through Doumen and Jinwan districts.

The line from the junction of Zhuhai and Jiangmen will go through the Laolaoxi and Hutiaomen waterways to first arrive at Lianzhou Station east of Lianzhou General Airport. It will then go southward through the Huangyang, Sima, and Guogaidong mountains to Doumen Station at the Xinqing Industrial Park Plaza.

Jinwan Station will be set south of Zhuhai Avenue in the middle of Airport North Road for the connection, with the line traversing the Jitimen waterway and the avenue.

The line continues along Airport North Road, bypassing Mutouchong Reservoir in the east and terminating at Zhuhai Airport Station.

The entire route stretches 52.03 km, with 40.98 km elevated, 10.04 km underground, and 1.01 km being subgrade. Three of the four stations will be established on viaducts. The line will also have a 3.59 km-long bullet train track and station in Jinwan.

The assessment was posted by Guangdong Provincial Railway Construction Investment Group Co Ltd.
