A Zhuhai delegation comprising more than 90 local enterprises took part in the annual event to explore business opportunities in tourism and related sectors.
Preserved Duck Bundles is a provincial intangible cultural heritage item. The dish is a blend of wings, feet, liver, and intestines, releasing a unique fragrance. They are processed from selected duck meat and immersed in a secret sauce. The savory dish sells well in Hong Kong and Macao.
Dachikan Open Flame Roast Pork & Spare Ribs is a municipal intangible cultural heritage item. It is made of finely selected pork from blade meat and spareribs from high-grade home-raised pigs.
Inheritors promoted the specialties while sharing the handicraft experience by handing out pamphlets.
The showcase gave an insight into Doumen's richness in intangible cultural legacies and strengthened the popularity of its delicacies, according to a staff member at the Doumen Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center.
