Jilin programs to play on Laos national television

The Jilin Radio and Television Week, intending to promote Jilin culture to the world and increase international cooperation, opened in Vientiane, Laos, on July 3.

Programs from Jilin's channel, on topics such as folk culture and natural resorts, will be played on Laos' national channel until July 10. People in Laos can learn about China, particularly Jilin province, from all aspects such as culture, sports, and business.

During the opening ceremony, a Jilin delegate said cooperation between Laos and Jilin province has improved in recent years and he hopes people in the two places can better know each other through the activity.

During the event, photo galleries, book exhibitions, and press exchange conferences will also be held to help people from the two regions understand each other.

Jilin Radio and Television Week activity had been held in many countries including Japan, Germany, and the US, and has contributed to cooperative exchanges between Jilin and the world.
