Over 500 businesses from nearly 20 countries gathered at Manzhouli Exhibition Center to participate in the 14th North China International Science and Technology Exposition on July 3.
Initiated in 2004, the expo has enrolled over 10,000 businesses and 430,000 traders from the science and technology sector who have agreed contracts with a total value of more than 39 billion yuan ($5.7 billion).
The three-day event aimed to display world-leading and high-tech products, materials, and techniques from countries along the Belt and Road. It also provided a platform for businesses from China and abroad to negotiate and cooperate.
The expo was organized by the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Engineering, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Government, and science institutes from Russia and Mongolia.
