The first World Intelligence Congress will be held in Tianjin on June 29, and, in the future, intelligence industries will be the core power driving the development of the city. So it's worth taking a look at the intelligent factors in the Tianjin Binhai new area.
When smog appears, the National Supercomputer Center in Tianjin analyzes its cause and issues air-quality warnings using China's first supercomputer, the -Tianhe-1. China's latest supercomputer, the Tianhe-3, is in development and is anticipated to be able to make one quintillion (1 followed by 18 zeros) calculations per second. The National Supercomputer Center works as the "brain" of China, and will continue to be the base of industrial data calculation in Tianjin.

A supercomputing network has been built in Tianjin Binhai new district, providing 24-hour supercomputer services to more than 50 enterprises. The Tianjin Binhai industrial clouding platform has served about 100 enterprises, and, with its help, the development cycle of automobile pneumatic research has been shortened by 12.5 percent and R&D expenditure lessened by 10 percent.
Binhai new area has been shaped into an industrial chain combining clouding, big data, and mobile internet. With those resources it is home to enterprises pursuing marine industrial objectives, such as Tianjin Deepfar Ocean Technology which focuses on underwater unmanned aerial vehicles used in a variety of ocean projects such as environmental detection, underwater rescue and aquaculture.

The intelligence industries; development in Tianjin Binhai new area has three main parts. The first one is the presence of companies active in intelligence equipment, such as Honeywell, DMG MORI, Siemens and Flowcontrol. The second is improving the intelligence level of traditional manufacturing industries. The third part of the development is infrastructure. For that, Binhai new area has optimized the city’s informatization and intelligent environment by creating and applying a:five ones: model -- an e-government network, a clouding center, a GIS platform, a message platform and an e-certification service platform.
