Global heavy-weights will gather in Guangzhou this July to brainstorm about new policies, innovations, technologies, and investments for China's bioindustry.
The 10th China Bioindustry Convention 2017 (BioChina 2017) will be held at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center from July 3 to 5 in congruence with the first Guangzhou International Biological Forum, which is hailed as the "Davos" for the biological field of academic communication, business exchange, and cooperation.

Initiated in 2007, BioChina is the largest annual event for bioindustry and represents a one-of-a-kind opportunity for professionals to share knowledge and experiences regarding technologies and seek investments for enterprises.
The convention will organize 16 sub-forums, uniting the industry's big names and professional visitors to discuss topics for industrial policies, genetic technologies, regenerative medicine, biological materials, innovation for traditional Chinese medicine, and investment.
It's expected to woo 300 dignitaries to attend the first International Biological Forum including government leaders such as Israel's ambassador to China; experts such as Zhong Nanshan, a renowned academician for the Chinese Academy of Engineering; Charles Cantor, professor and founder of the Human Genome Project; and enterprise senior executives from BeiGene, Pfizer, and Qiagen.
In addition, the quarter-final for the bio-pharmaceutical industry portion the sixth China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition will kick off during the convention.
During the three-day event, organizers will also launch an exhibition to popularize biological science and promote the latest achievements to the public.
